Make a research about famous people. In teams of 2 or 3 people, go to the page “Capzles” (using the link found in this blog) and proceed to find any information you want related to him or her. If you don’t find enough information there, feel free to search the web for any data you might need related to famous singers or groups (Note: if you have to register, please do the necessary steps as requested by the page). Make up a presentation for the class using your information and any tools you may need, for example, Capzles (go to the page by clicking on the link provided).

As a conclusion, make a research about history’s 5 best groups or performers in English.

Session 2


Go to the page Collaborize classroom following the link provided in this blog. Follow the instructions to register.

Find a person from an English-speaking country (USA, Canada, England…), and make up a conversation about their favorite singers and groups (first introduce yourself and explain the purpose of the conversation. Don’t feel afraid, you might find new friends!!!!)

Watch the videos that the teacher is going to proyect. As you can see, it’s just the music. It’s karaoke!!! Watch the lyrics and if you know the song, sing it!!!!

Make small teams to plan a recital. Choose a Project leader and get organized with songs (in English) and dates.  

Make use of the following checklist:

_____ I understand the song’s content

_____ I can detect the key words in the lyrics

_____ I can read the lyrics in synchrony with music

_____ I can follow the rhythm as I listen to the song

_____ I can sing the song according to the speed of music

_____ I can give an accurate pronunciation to the song’s lyrics

_____ I have already determined the place, date and audience for my recital.
